He holds double qualifications in Personal Training and Sports Coaching and is also a certified Running Instructor. His training approach focuses on helping people reach their best physical and mental versions, with the belief that improving the body is the first step toward improving every aspect of life.

Originally from Spain and now based in Dublin, Ander’s journey in fitness began many years ago when he first discovered how training could transform not just the body, but also the mindset and lifestyle. What started as a personal interest soon became his passion and ultimately his career—driven by the belief that discipline and movement can positively impact every area of life.

Before moving to Ireland, Ander worked with clients in Spain, helping them build healthy habits, improve strength, and gain confidence through structured training. Since relocating to Dublin, he has continued to expand his experience and qualifications and now works as part of our team. His goal at Smart Fit is to bring a high-performance yet supportive approach to anyone looking to improve their fitness—whether they are beginners, experienced gym-goers, or athletes preparing for events.

Ander’s training philosophy is based on balance, sustainability, and performance. Hybrid training, which combines strength and endurance, teaches discipline, builds confidence, and develops a body that performs well in everyday life—not only in the gym. His beliefs are rooted in structured programs, proper technique, and progressive overload, while also emphasizing mobility, recovery, and long-term health. For Ander, the work doesn’t end when the session finishes; real transformation comes from consistency, habits, and a strong mindset.

He places a strong emphasis on individualized coaching. Every person has different goals, lifestyles, challenges, and starting points. His role as a coach at Smart Fit is to meet each client where they are and guide them step by step toward becoming stronger, fitter, and more confident.
Whether the goal is fat loss, muscle gain, athletic conditioning, running performance, or general health, he builds training plans that are realistic, motivating, and effective.

As a certified Running Instructor and HYROX competitor with multiple endurance races completed, Ander brings real-world experience to endurance programming and hybrid performance training. This includes pacing strategies, technique improvement, strength-to-weight balance, and mental preparation. He believes running and strength training complement each other and uses this combined method to help clients feel fitter, move better, and build a powerful, athletic physique.
